Nordson Asymtek buys Infiniti Dosing’s PCP product lines

Nordson Asymtek, a provider of dispensing, jetting, and coating equipment and technologies, has acquired the rights and assets to progressive cavity pump (PCP) product lines from Germany-based Infiniti Dosing.

As per the terms of the deal, Nordson Asymtek acquired dispensing and dosing products marketed by Infiniti under the Dot Streamer (DS) and Accura brands.

Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed. Nordson said that the acquisition of PCP product lines will complement its jet dispensing portfolio.

With the completion of the deal, Infiniti’s owner and founder Jean-Claude Tytgat will join Nordson Asymtek and will continue to work on technology developments.

Tytgat said: “Joining Nordson Asymtek is the perfect synergy for Infiniti.

“Their global infrastructure and deep technical competence will speed the growth and adoption of the micro-dispense capabilities that our PCP technology offers.”

For electronics applications, the Infiniti Dosing products offer highly viscous and abrasive fluids in mini, micro and nano levels.

The dispensed materials include silicones, MS polymers, solder pastes, MMAs, epoxy resins, potting compounds, sealants, and 2-component, thermally conductive, and electrically conductive adhesives.
