Spanish label printer Coreti has invested in three Omet presses to meet the increasing demand for adhesive labels.

The firm has installed three OMET machines in 2017 at its facility in Poligono de Bergondo, in La Coruña.

The firm initially invested in a 10-color XFlex X5 machine, which is designed to produce labels as well as flexible packaging and folding cartons, followed by installation of XFlex, with six colors, and a 4-color iFlex machines.

Coreti has recently renewed and inaugurated its only facility located on a surface of more than 7000m2.

Coreti CEO Celso González said: “This larger infrastructure allowed us to expand our production capacity and to support Coreti’s expansion and growth in the last few years.

“We can rely on a wide commercial network that includes Spanish territory as well as a part of Portugal, even if our labels go much farther.”

Employing about 110 people, Coreti is engaged in production of labels for different sectors, especially for wine, beer, oil bottles or gourmet products, as well as food, logistics or distribution and others.

González further said: “We print our labels using all the printing technologies existing on the market. We have digital, offset, flexographic and silk-screen printing press.

“Furthermore, we try to constantly innovate the materials and the finishing, in order to make our labels stand out on the market.”

“Technologies at our disposal allow us to offer a wide range of solutions to our current and potential clients, including silk-screen, glitter, hot stamping, varnishing, embossing, special die-cuts, variable data or backside printing, booklet labels, and others.”

González said that the OMET’s press offer robustness and precision, as well as provides flexibility required to personalize configuration according to the user’s necessities.

The XFlex X5 is a fully servo press designed to deliver high quality labels and packaging and high productivity for short to medium runs of labels and long runs of films.
